She has completed a three year bachelor degree in Kathak from Chandigarh, India, training under Varun Bannerjee, a disciple of the renowned Pandit Birju Maharaj. After a short break in training when she moved to Florida for higher education, she has resumed training under Archana Kumar at the Manasarovar Kathak School. The other Kathak is by Alpana Whagmare.
