The Lalgudi bani, or style of music is one of the most distinctive styles of Carnatic instrumental music which can eloquently capture the mood and essence of any composition. Ravi has been performing in the Seattle area as an accompanist and as well as a solo artist. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from University of Wisconsin, Madison and is currently working for Microsoft.
